team info+update+new contest ruleThe cousins are officially gone, and I am very happy about that, but now I am bored out of my skull. No one has given me any possible request's I can actually do, except some... I am working on one of them now. =Amiamy requested something, and hopefully I got it right... Anyway, not much to say for updates.
But, Vice's Team is near completion. So far, here are the definate members:
*deity-of-destruction with her character Arsenal, who I think is a very nice character. And =Amiamy's character Sinya. Sinya's a good character for the team, too.
Even though there are 3 members of the team... It ain't complete. I was thinking that it needs, I dunno, a guy. Vice is an it, and the the rest of the team members are girls. So, I made my point rather clear about the members... And, I want the members to be real. No special powers or anything like that. Just characters who're psychotic. The reason I picked the other 2, is because they're real. Arsenal is just awesome. *deity-of-destruction gave me a little info of her, and "Crazy enough to be obsessed over someone's eyes enough to try to take the person apart xD" is what was said and that was good enought for me. And I roleplayed with =Amiamy and her character Sinya is just another I've been looking for. She goes on killing sprees and that's just one detail I picked up. Both characters are like, real. They don't have special powers. They don't "Kill! Kill! Kill!" every chance they get. The characters are real. I hope we can find 2 more members or something.

So whats up with this latest work you've been doing? That is so far beneath your skill level. What the hell are you doing? You are an artist, and a damn good one at that. Make some damned art.
OK, great, I have a request for you.
I would love to see you that awesome talent of yours to illustrate, and make some unique and original drawings like the abstract landscaape drawing you made and I commented on.
I have a few words for you. About this who "beneath her skill level" thing... You should just plain back off.
You, sir, I believe are someone who only appreciates a certian type of art. And that is abstract, and realistic... But that doesn't mean such things as my friend makes, such as anthro, anime, all that isn't considered art. Art is art, none the less.
Sure, anthro, and anime there is more than likely less time put into the work, but it's all still lines on paper, is it not? Each picture has emotion to it, each peice of work got a little of the person's soul put into making it. There is no need to down size it, and shun someone because they like drawing what they like to draw.
You sir need to look at the big picture, rather than what you like. Give credit to all artwork, not to the things that appeal to you. Sure, I know I'm being a slight hypocrite by saying that, but at least I don't go around telling people to stop doing what they love.
So next time you leave a comment on my friend's page, rather it be in her journal, or on her work, please DON'T tell her that her art isn't art. Because otherwise, you'd be lying. And on one likes to be a liar, do they?

And my latest works are what I've been doing for the past few years. Cartooning, manga, and anthro is what I find to be fun, and simple. Anthro and manga is a form of art. If it's not, then what exactly is it? Art is not just abstract and surreal, and paints and pencils. There is graphic design and anthro and manga.
I do appreciate that you actually notice my abstract artwork and such, but I draw stuff other than that. Even if it may be "beneath my skill level". Just please understand that what the hell I'm doing is what I prefer to do.
There will be more abstract and surreal in my gallery, but I do what I please.

I also agreee with what you said, yes art does not have to be so damned serious. Art should be fun. I agree, the moment art stops being fun, we need to stop being artists.
Mace posted some Still Life. I'd like to see you post something similar. Abstract, Still Life, . I am going to encourage the both of you to create more art that challenges you.
And I do know I can create better... But frankly, my hands don't like to create what's in my mind. I know I can do better, but I can't do it. It's like irony.
Also, that's another thing... I can't do shit for Abstract, or Still Life. I may be a good artist, but I'm no where near being that good... my hands don't like to work with me the way my mind does. And seeing as you're watching me now, please don't leave any comments saying stuff like you did for my friend... Otherwise I'll block you. I'm not one to take lightly to "suggestions" about stuff I'm not even ready to do.
